- Forming Mold: in aluminum or steel for forming the structure, with blades on inserts.
- Covering Mold: in aluminum, with stretching system to assure adhesion between structure and aesthetic material.
- Cutting Tool: in carpentry or casting, with blades and hydraulic movements to change versions and trim the final product.
- Water Jet Nest: in resin with steel carpentry for cutting the component.
- Checking Fixture: in resin (light) or in aluminum (full) to check dimensionally the component.
Two-Step Technology
The first step process consists in forming the structure material with a steel or aluminum mold having inserts with blades.
In the second step process, the obtained formed structure is covered with aesthetic material in a specific aluminum mold. This mold is normally equipped with a stretching system to assure a correct adhesion between the two parts.
In the last step process, the final product is trimmed out using a specific cutting tool or a Water Jet nest.
One-Step Technology
In the first step process, forming of the structure and covering with aesthetic material are made concurrently in the same mold.
In the last step process, the final product is trimmed out using a specific cutting tool or a Water Jet nest.
